FAQs

It’s easy to get started! Give us a call at 336-682-5448 or send us your request for service using our Contact Form. We’ll get right back to you to confirm availability and schedule your Meet & Greet before your visits start.

No, we do not have boarding facilities or board pets in our homes. We specialize in caring for pets in their own home environment.
We do not offer overnight pet sitting. You can schedule up to four visits per day for your pet, starting in early morning and ending at bedtime.
Absolutely! When you’re at work or traveling, we’re going to be there for your pets.
We care for all types of companion animals, caged pets and small barnyard animals like chickens.
Yes, we are bonded and are insured through one of the leading providers of specialty pet sitting insurance, Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
For consistency of care, safety, and liability reasons, we require that we are the sole pet care provider during the service period. We also prefer that we are the only people coming into the home for any reason. Please notify us in advance if other people will be visiting your home. If we arrive and unknown persons are present, we will not enter until we have confirmation from you.

To ensure the health and well-being of your pet, we require daily visits for all pets. Cats require a minimum of one visit per day, and indoor dogs without access to a pet door require a minimum of three visits per day. If you have a pet door, two visits per day are required.

It is our ethical obligation as professional pet care providers to care for all pets present in the home. Please make us aware of all the pets that will be present during our visits.
We strive to always be available when you need us, but sometimes we do fill up. We recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible, especially for summer vacations and big holidays like Thanksgiving. For first-time services, please make your request at least two weeks in advance to allow time to schedule a Meet & Greet.

You can cancel visits through the scheduling app, by phone or by email. Cancelations are not accepted by text. Recurring dog walk clients must cancel by 5pm the day before the scheduled service to receive credit for the cancelation. All other types of visits (pet sitting, cat sitting and occasional dog walks) must be canceled 14 days in advance to receive a full refund or credit. Visits canceled fewer than 14 days in advance will receive a 50% credit to their account.

Yes, we will collect 2 copies of your house keys at your Meet & Greet, even if you have keyless entry or a garage code. Keys are retained on file in our office for future services or can be returned to you for a fee.

Instead of providing keys to our office, you may also store your keys in a good-quality, well-functioning lockbox.

There is a $20 fee for picking up or dropping off keys.

We require an up-to-date rabies vaccination for all cats, dogs and ferrets over the age of 4 months, in accordance with North Carolina law. Please have the paper Rabies Vaccine Certificate you received after your pet was immunized available at your Meet & Greet.
Our goal is to always be available when you need us, so we may sometimes assign a different team member to care for your pets. All of our pet care providers are amazing and well-trained and they have access to your pet’s care instructions in your online account.
Rain or shine, hot or cold, we will be there for your pet! For dog walks, if it’s too hot for your dog to walk on the pavement, we will provide a shorter walk on grassy areas or have playtime in the yard. If it’s raining hard, we’ll give your dog a quick potty break and spend the rest of the time playing indoors. For all types of visits, if conditions are unsafe for travel (for instance, ice or deep snow), we will notify you ahead of time so you can make other arrangements for your pet.
For your convenience, we accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

If you have any questions that we haven’t answered here, please feel free to send us a message or call us at 336-682-5448!
