Pfafftown is a lovely northwest suburb of Winston-Salem, situated beside the Yadkin River. Named for Peter Pfaff, a German immigrant who moved to the area in 1750, the town was awarded its own post office in 1888.
Just to the north of Pfafftown is the historic village of Bethania, established in 1759 as a self-sufficient farming community consisting of German-speaking Protestant Moravian and non-Moravian settlers. A National Historic Landmark, the town of Bethania is the only known existing Germanic-type Linear Agriculture village in the South.
Laughing Dog Walks n’ Sits offers its full range of dog walking, pet sitting and cat sitting services to Pfafftown and Bethania.
